Allegany coach Mike Baker said the new staff in Greenville did a tremendous job with Beale.
"Ricky Stokes has been up here and he's been in contact," Baker said. "Tyronne loves the campus and he turned down some big schools because they made him feel wanted and he's going to be part of that turnaround down there."
In Beale, the Pirates are getting a prospect who went for 22 points and 10 rebounds a game this past season. He shot an incredible 63% from the field and 79 percent from the line for a team that finished up 22-8.
"He's kind of an intriguing player," Baker said. "Most of his shots were from 12-15 feet. He can play with his back to the basket and he can get the shots off real quick. He runs the floor like an antelope. He's going to cause some problems for people. He can take their big men outside and their guards on the blocks."
