Offer For Wallace

Blake Wallace has an offer from a local school...

Blake Wallace, 6-7 JR SF Anaheim (Calif.) Servite, hasn't received a lot of hype from national analysts, but he might be the best small forward prospect in the West Coast class.

A very good athlete, Wallace is extremely versatile. He played some point guard for his high school team, he rebounds well in traffic and he can score from multiple spots on the floor.

We spoke with Wallace recently and he gave us a list of the schools recruiting him.

"UConn, Oregon State, New Mexico, Oregon, Gonzaga, Washington, USC...those are some of them," said Wallace.

We asked Wallace about offers and he replied, "USC has offered. I talked with Coach Floyd and he thought I had a pretty good game, that I worked hard. Coming from him, that's a big compliment."

Wallace went on to say, "But no school has the edge right now. Every school has an equal opportunity."

Wallace doesn't see himself making a decision in the near future.

"Not until after August," said Wallace.

Wallace is a solid student and should have no trouble qualifying. He plans on taking the SAT in May.
