Offers For Bouldin

Matt Boudlin, a 6-4 junior combo guard from Colorado, has serious interest from programs across the country. Schools in the Pac-10, Big 12, WCC, Mountain West and Big East have offered the talented guard...

Matt Bouldin, 6-4 JR SG Highlands Ranch (Col.) Thunderridge, was extremely impressive when we saw him earlier this month in Las Vegas. In addition to being among the best shooters in the west, Bouldin might also be the best passer.

While we project him as more of shooting guard at the next level -- due primarily to his size and averrage quickness -- there's no question that Bouldin sees the court like a point guard. He has the feel and vision to play as a lead guard and we expect he'll have a chance to play both guard positions in college.

We spoke with Bouldin recently and asked about the schools that are showing him serious interest.

"Gonzaga, Cal, Boston College, Texas and Utah have offered," said Bouldin. "There are some other schools as well. Indiana has been sending a lot of stuff."

Bouldin said that most of the schools he mentioned have been out to visit him at his school.

While no official visits have been scheduled at this time, Bouldin expects to visit Cal in the near future.

When asked if there are other schools that he definitely wants to visit, Bouldin said, "I really want to visit Gonzaga."

Bouldin said he'd like to make a decision as soon as possible.

"If I feel comfortable with a school, I could make a decision quickly," said Bouldin. "But I definitely would like to sign by November."

Bouldin is a solid student and should have no trouble qualifying. He took the ACT two weeks ago and is awaiting the results.
