Three Top Eatmon's List

Curtis Eatmon, a 6-3 junior guard from Southern California, impressed several coaches with his performance in April. A couple Pac-10 programs, along with a Mountain West school, are showing him the most interest at this time...

We spoke with Curtis Eatmon, 6-3 JR PG/SG Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) High, last night and asked him about the schools he is considering.

"Right now, I'm interested in the ones that are genuinely interested in me," said Eatmon. "Utah, Washington and USC have been showing the most interest. Also, Colorado State and San Diego."

Eatmon said that Colorado State and San Diego have both offered. He also told us that all of the schools are pretty even in his mind at this point.

"I don't have a favorite yet."

We asked about official visits and Eatmon replied, "I think I'm going to take an official visit to Utah in June, but I don't have a date yet. I also want to visit Washington."

Eatmon said he's not close to making a decision.

"I want to see how I play in July and then make my decision," said Eatmon. "I definitely would like to sign early before my senior season."

Eatmon recently took the SAT and is awaiting the results. He told us he has a 3.6 GPA.
