Kasey Cunningham, 6-6 JR SF/PF Albuquerque (New Mexico) Cibola, is an athletic prospect who might spend some time at both forward spots. He's a good rebounder and effective slasher off the wing.

We spoke with Cunningham recently and he told us he's been hearing from New Mexico, Texas A & M, USC, Utah, Gonzaga, UTEP, Florida and Arizona.

We asked which programs have called him recently.

"I've been talking to Arizona, New Mexico, USC, Texas A & M and Gonzaga."

When asked about schools that have been out to visit him at his high school, Cunningham said, "Arizona, USC, Texas A & M and New Mexico have been out to my school."

Cunningham said he has a few schools in mind that he'd like to visit. "I definitely want to visit Texas A & M, USC, Arizona and New Mexico."

We questioned Cunningham about what he is looking for in a school.

"A good education and a good coach, program and teammates," said Cunningham.

Cunningham said location is not an issue at all in his decision. When we asked about the issue of early playing time, Cunningham replied, "I'd like to have a positive effect early on the team."

Cunningham said he has no time frame for making his decision. He told us he has a 3.0 GPA and he'll take the SAT in June.
