Two Leaders For Hall

Ray Hall, a 6-9 junior center from Colorado, is one of the top big men in the west for 2006. Hall tells us that two Pac-10 programs currently top his list...

Ray Hall, 6-9 JR C Denver (Col.) Mullen, had some mixed performances in April, but that hasn't stopped high major programs from continuing to recruit him.

We spoke with Hall last night and asked him about the schools he's been hearing from lately.

"UCLA, USC, Illinois and Georgia Tech have offered," said Hall. "Right now, I like UCLA and USC the best because I've seen both campuses and I like what they're doing."

Hall took unofficial visits to UCLA and USC prior to the April evaluation period. We asked him for his impressions of the two schools.

"I like both of them," said Hall. "There's a lot more people at UCLA, but both schools have a lot of tradition. USC is more compact, while UCLA is more spread out. I talked with Coach Floyd and Cantu at USC. At UCLA, I talked with Coach Howland and all his assistants.

Hall hasn't set up any official visits yet.

"I won't take any official visits until after July," said Hall.
