Morgan Mulling Two Offers

Raymar Morgan, a Top 50 prospect out of Canton (Ohio) McKinley, has a few big time offers but Morgan stresses that he's not even close to doing anything … yet.

Raymar Morgan, a 6-foot-7 forward, has turned in a big spring with the King James Shooting Stars. He's rocketed up the charts to No. 49 in our latest Class of 2006 rankings.

At this point in the spring, Morgan has a host of school chasing him and has been provided with two offers from Michigan State and Ohio State. The remainder of his list – Syracuse, Connecticut, Arizona, and Michigan – have not offered to date.

For Morgan, a few things stand out with both Michigan State and Ohio State. The Spartans, for example, have two things that appeal to Morgan. "I like their facility and the chemistry of their guys."

Ohio State, a school with a ton of recruiting momentum this spring, appeals because of the coaching staff. "I really like their staff and coaches," Morgan said.

Unlike a lot of guys in the Class of 2006 who are making early decisions, Morgan says he doesn't have a leader and won't make a hasty decision.

"To be honest," Morgan said, "I'm not even sure [who leads]. I'm not close to doing anything, not yet anyway."
