Porch Still Wide Open

Antonio Porch is not well-known nationally, but he will be after this spring. The 6-6 small forward from Colorado tells us his list as of right now...

We spoke with Antonio Porch, 6-6 JR SF Denver (Col.) Denver East, recently and he told us that he hasn't started to narrow his list down yet.

The #1 ranked small forward in the west, Porch had a good summer, but didn't really stand-out as an elite high-major guy. That changed in December, when he had an outstanding showing at the Las Vegas tournament. Some high profile schools started to show interest and we expect many more to jump on Porch after this spring.

Porch told us that Colorado St., Kansas, Arizona, Oregon St., New Mexico, Texas Tech and SMU have all been showing interest. He mentioned that Arizona had been out to a practice, while Oregon St., Texas Tech and SMU had all been at one of his games.

When we asked which school had been showing the most interest so far, Porch said, "Colorado St. sends a lot of stuff."

Porch told us that geography won't be a major factor in his decision but, if everything else was equal, then he might want to stay close to home.

Porch is averaging 15 points and 9.8 rebounds a game this year.
