Blake Wallace Taking His Time

Blake Wallace has schools from most of the major conferences showing interest in him, but he doesn't have a firm list yet and won't take visits until after the summer...

Blake Wallace, 6-7 JR SF Anaheim (Calif.) Servite, is one of the top players in the west, but his recruitment has been fairly low key to date.

We asked Wallace about the schools he's been hearing from lately.

"I have about 10 schools that are showing interest, calling my coach and asking that I call them," said Wallace. "UConn, USC, Gonzaga, Washington, Oregon State, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, Syracuse, Pittsburgh and Kansas. I've been really busy, though, and haven't been able to call all of them."

Wallace said he has no favorite at this time.

"I'm not going to make my decision until sometime between August and November," said Wallace.

Wallace has yet to take any official visits and said he won't do so until after the summer.

"I'm not even sure what schools I definitely want to visit," said Wallace.

Wallace has a busy schedule ahead of him.

"I may go to the USC and UCLA camps later this month," said Wallace. "Then in July I have the Superstar camp, the Super 64 in Vegas and the Best of Summer."
