Dahlman Update, Plus Video

Braham Area wing Isaiah Dahlman is down to three schools. The 6-foot-7 standout talks about his recruitment and we've got more video of him from a recent spring event!

So far, Isaiah Dahlman of Braham (Minn.) Braham Area has taken just one visit and that was to Iowa. He tried to take a second visit to Michigan State but a funny (unless you're Tom Izzo) thing happened along the way.

"Our van broke down," Dahlman said. "We were just driving and we stopped for gas and we couldn't get it started back up. I'll have to take an official out there in the fall."

The visit or lack thereof to Michigan State seems to have slowed down his process and Dahlman said he's committed to waiting until the fall to see the Spartans campus officially.

"It's just an obstacle," Dahlman said. "There could be worse obstacles than this. That's going to make it wait until the fall. That's fine tough."

Minnesota is mentioned along with Iowa and Michigan State but Dahlman says there is no need to visit campus officially due to his familiarity with the program. Iowa and Michigan State are widely viewed as the frontrunners.

"They're both great schools," Dahlman said. "I don't have them ranked right now. It's not fair to say one's better than the others."

So, what's important to Dahlman. "Players. Players. I think that's it. Will I figure in? Will I feel comfortable around them? You're going to have to be hanging around with them the whole year." Dahlman praised the Iowa players and the Hawkeyes passed that part of the exam on his official visit.
