"I like Pitino and Louisville a lot, every since I was growing up," Smith told Evan Daniels of Scout.com. "They weren't recruiting me as much, but when they came, they came hard."
Smith has been injured for most of the spring AAU season but he carries the reputation of a guy who can get things done at the offensive end. He's an excellent compliment to Sosa and Louisville's future backcourt is in good hands with this pair of Top 50 prospects.
"They just said that I have a good chance of playing a lot as a freshman," Smith explained. "They didn't guarantee anything. But they told me I could compete for minutes right away."
