West Coast 2006 Power Forwards

James Keefe, Andreas Schreiber and Kenny Lawson are among the top power forwards in the West Coast class of 2006...

The West Coast power forward class is a bit down in 2006, with a limited number of high major prospects. Keefe is the clear-cut choice for the top spot. He's the best rebounder in the west and the consummate team player. He's got a nice stroke to the three-point line and he's also a very good shot blocker. Schreiber moved to the U.S. from Sweden a little over a year ago and it looks like he's just now starting to get acclimated to the American style of play. He's got a very good frame, excellent feet and a high skill level. Deane is tough and physical, with a pretty nice shot out to the stripe. Lawson is a promising big man who has been under the radar until now. He's somewhat inexperienced, but has the potential to turn into a very nice player eventually. Parker is a skilled, face-up four man who might play some three. He's got an excellent feel for the game and competes well.
