West Coast All Star Camp First Session, Day One

The West Coast All-Star Camp First Session began yesterday. A couple big men from Washington and Idaho look good...

The West Coast All-Star Camp first session began yesterday and there appears to be a fair amount of talent on hand. We only got a brief look at some players, but here's a quick take on a few of the guys we saw.

Will Foster, 7-1 SR C White River (Wash.) Buckley. Foster just committed to Gonzaga after attending the Bulldogs camp and we can see why Mark Few and Co. like the young big man. He's got good feet and a nice touch around the basket.

Jonathan Malloy, 6-5 SR SG/SF Compton (Calif.) Centennial. One of the more underrated wings in the west, Malloy is a terrific athlete with much improved ball skills. A possible high major prospect.

Scott Thompson, 6-10 JR C Meridian (Ida.) Mountain View. Good-looking young big with nice hands and a good touch to 15-17 feet.

Jamarion Lewis, 6-1 SR PG/SG Las Vegas (Nev.) Centennial. Very interesting prospect if he can play the one. Showed a nice shot to the stripe and made several good passes in the game we saw.
