Lincoln Caps Perfect 40-0 Season

Dallas Lincoln did. The Chris Bosh-lead team defeated Beaumont Ozen for the state championship on Saturday. That means Lincoln is in line to capture the mythical high school national championship.

Bosh, Perkins Cancel Each Other Out

Chris Bosh and Dallas Lincoln defeated Ozen in front of a capacity crowd of nearly 17,000 to win the Class 4-A Texas state championship.

Bosh scored 21 for the winners as his adversary; Ozen junior Kendrick Perkins scored 20 and hauled in 14 rebounds.

On a bum wheel, Lincoln's Bryan Hopkins handed out five assists and created six steals.

The win caps a perfect 40- 0 season and likely No. 1 ranking in the final USA Today poll.
