Missouri Still Leads For Clemmons

Ricky Clemmons is back at home in North Carolina finishing up his coursework. Missouri remains his leader but one ACC school is trying to make a push.

Florida State Hoping For A Visit

Guard Ricky Clemmons is back home in North Carolina finishing up his coursework so he can graduate from the College of Southern Idaho.

"I'm finishing up the second semester here in North Carolina,'' Clemmons said. "I'm going to take summer classes at the college I decide to go to."

Right now, that college is Missouri, but the Tigers aren't the only school in pursuit. Florida State is on Clemmons.

"I might take a visit to Florida State. Coach Hamilton and I have been talking. I haven't made up my mind yet." FSU would like to get Clemmons in for a visit next week. However, Clemmons acknowledged that Missouri remains the leader and he could decide soon.

"Missouri is my strongest option," Clemmons said. "I have a close relationship with Coach Snyder and he's been recruiting me the longest. I just feel like that's a big time conference. Six of the top 12 schools are in the Big 12. I feel real comfortable with that situation."

Right now, it looks like Missouri has the inside track and we're coming down the homestretch. Hamilton and Florida State will have to act fast, otherwise he's Mizzou bound.
