"You've got to get over it at some point," 71st point guard Casey Long said of his team's state title loss. "(Reynolds) was a good team. I expected it to be close but that's the way the tide turns sometime."

Long, the 6-1 junior point guard did all he could in the finale. For the year, he tossed in 14 points, 6 assists, 4 rebounds and 3 steals a night.

"This is one of my best year's I've had," Long said. "I had a lot of leadership from the seniors and they just molded me into the player I am now."

The player he is now already has an offer from East Carolina. Tulane, Louisiana State and Florida State are interested. "I'm pretty much open. Anywhere in the south. I am open to everyone. It doesn't matter to me. Whichever one is a better position for me."

Long will spilt his time on the AAU circuit this year with the New Orleans Jazz and Greensboro Gaters.
