``It came at a real good time," said Ivory, a one-time Providence signee. "I was supposed to be leaving the other day for Mississippi."
``It's a great situation for me," Ivory added. ``It's close to home and I feel like there's an opportunity for me to play after Keith Butler left."
The well-traveled Ivory, who has attended a handful of schools – including Springbrook , National Christian, Marriott Charter, Coastal Christian, Genesis One – has soft hands and good footwork – but just needs to get into shape.
Ivory has been productive when he's seen game action. However, injuries have hampered the amount of time he's been able to be on the court in the last couple of years.
Ivory said that he was planning on attending Gulf Coast Community College (Miss.) after receiving recent interest from San Diego and Louisiana-Monroe.
