Boo Williams: 16-Year Old Semifinals

HAMPTON, Va. – All that you ask for in an early morning AAU game are good players and competitive ball. Sunday's quarterfinals at the Boo Williams in the 16-year old age bracket were just that.

16-and-Under Playoffs

Semifinal No. 1 Jackson Tigers 67, Philly Patriots 52: Sophomore forward Al Jefferson is the main attraction wherever he goes. Against the Patriots, he scored what might be a tournament-low 17 points, largely due to the attention the Patriots paid to him. Meanwhile, teammate Charles Rhodes led the way with 18.

Jackson actually trailed at the half before getting down to business to win by nearly 20. Patriots forward Desean White had a huge first half but like his teammates, cooled in the second stanza.

The Tigers have four high-major prospects in point guard Charlie White, SG Robert Clark, Jefferson and Rhodes.

Semifinal No. 2: Riverside Church 64, Arkansas Wings 60
