Zags Get Early Verbal Again

Gonzaga again gets an early commitment from a junior when small forward Adam Morrison from Spokane recently verbally committed...

Adam Morrision, 6-5 JR SF, Spokane (Wash.) Mead, Washington has given an early verbal commitment to attend Gonzaga.

Morrison averaged 25.5ppg and 7.2 rebounds as a junior, leading Mead to a 20-8 record while setting a Greater Spokane League single-season scoring record.

Morrison chose Gonzaga over Washington State, Eastern Washington, Wyoming, UCSB, Santa Clara, Oregon State, Portland, and Montana State among others.

The early Morrison commitment marks the second year in a row that Gonzaga has received an early commitment from one of the best juniors in Washington. Last year, Sean Mallon committed early to Gonzaga.
