UNC-Greensboro Snares Parkland Guard
At the end of the high school basketball season in North Carolina, Ray Bristow was playing at the top of his game. He was routinely scoring points and Parkland was winning.
The team with double-digit losses (many of which came early in the year) was on a roll and Bristow was spearheading the charge. The point guard averaged 18 points and 5 assists this season.
Until Tuesday, his recruitment had been kind of slow. Now, he's committed to the UNC-Greensboro program. Stetson and some others took a look, but the Spartans got it done.
Greensboro and Bristow is an excellent match for each other. Bristow's Parkland teammate, shooting guard Mark Mason, will walk on for the Spartans.
