The 6-foot-9 power forward visited the school last weekend and wasted little time in making the commitment happen.
"As soon as I was up there and I met the guys and the young coaching staff, I knew it was the place for me," Stanton said. "They have great energy. I know they're going to win. They're building something pretty good and I just wanted to be a part of it."
Down at Eastern Kentucky, Jeff Neubauer's charges have added three players. Josh Taylor, a senior combo forward who averaged 19 points and 12 rebounds out of Brentwood High near Pittsburgh, was one of three prospects to pick the Colonels.
Taylor was a member of the Pittsburgh J.O.T.S. this summer.
Joining Taylor at EKU will be Ryan Dillman, a standout guard from Evansville (Ind.) Central. Dillman is 6-foot-1.
Adam Leonard, a 6-foot-2 senior out of Lees Summit in Missouri is also committed. Leonard will play a combination guard role for Colonels.
