Albuquerque (N.M.) Cibola standout Kasey Cunningham recently returned home from an official visit. Could be getting close to ending the process?
This past weekend, Cibola High power forward Kasey Cunningham
took a visit to Southern Cal.
"It was a nice campus with a lot of tradition," Cunningham said. "(Tim) Floyd is a good coach and they have some good guards. It seems like I'm a nice fit on the team and there might be a good possibility to play my freshman year."
Cunningham visited Iowa previously and says that he's got trips to Texas A&M and UNLV lined up. However, there's a chance he's taken his last visit.
"I'm not definitely taking other visits but they are planned right now," Cunningham said.
From the sounds of it, Iowa and USC are running neck and neck. "I'm coming close to a decision. I'm not ready to end it but I'm ready for the process to end.
"It's pretty much a tie right now."
Cunningham is weighing the big city option against the smaller, Midwestern city. He enjoyed Iowa during his visit.
"I need something to base it on. I saw Iowa and it was sort of like the same thing with USC. The only thing that came to me was the big city and small city. I have to decide which one is the best."
