Auburn Lands Texas Two Guard

Over the weekend, the Auburn Tigers struck in the Class of 2006. Jeff Lebo's program ventured into Texas, where it picked up a solid commitment from a wing player.

Kelvin Lewis is off the board. The 6-foot-4 all stater from the Class of 2006, committed to the Auburn Tigers over Virginia this past weekend.

"Kelvin has made a decision and he is going to play for Auburn," Kevin Lewis, the young man's father, told AUTigers.com. "He likes the coaching staff and he feels comfortable there."

Lewis, who attends North Crowley High School in Texas, averaged 17 points as a junior. North Crowley has produced numerous Division I players this decade and is one of the top teams in Texas.

A strong athlete, Lewis has the ability to play behind the arc and make 3s. Lewis made an official visit to Auburn the first weekend of September.
