Nate Miles Remains in Toledo

Nate Miles was supposed to attend Oak Hill Academy this year, but that didn't work out as planned. The long Toledo, Ohio native is gearing up for his junior campaign - and he also gave some insight into his verbal commitment.

The rumors have circulated about Nate Miles. Where is he going to high school this year? Will he stick with his commitment to college?

The 6-foot-6, 160-pound junior has returned to Toledo Libbey High (Ohio) after a short summer stint at Oak Hill Academy (Va.) and is planning to play at Xavier and play for Sean Miller.

Miles, 17, was basically invisible for the spring and summer on the AAU circuit because he was sitting in a classroom in Mouth of Wilson, Va.

``I didn't do anything and that's why my stock fell," Miles said.

``But I'm real glad I went to summer school at Oak Hill because I got a chance to see how serious everything was – both with basketball and academics."

Miles, who said he will likely play for All-Ohio next spring and summer, said he is receiving interest from schools like Tennessee, Wake Forest and Georgetown. However, it appears as though his commitment will stand with Xavier.

``I'm committed," Miles said. "If I had to go to college today, I'd go to Xavier."
