Coyle Patiently Waiting For Offers

Georgetown Prep shooter Pat Coyle can really stroke it. He has one of the best looking strokes we've seen so far this year. Coyle is hoping that stroke will help him land a Division I scholarship.

Coyle Patiently Waiting For Offers

Pat Coyle's a bright kid. He probably knows all too well that specialists, especially shooters, are a commodity in college basketball. That's why that although Coyle doesn't have a scholarship offer right now, he probably won't have to wait long.

Coyle says that Holy Cross, Davidson, Princeton, Yale, William & Mary are on his list. Stanford and UMass are two biggies he's listing interest in but it's unlikely either program will offer a scholarship.

"Holy Cross is my top choice right now," Coyle said. "Coach Willard is coming to see me play on Tuesday April 23. If he likes what he sees, hopefully this will be all done. William & Mary and Davidson are both high on my list."

Davidson and American came to watch him workout this week. Holy Cross and the Tribe will be in the following week.

"Education is honestly what I am looking for in a school. Other schools on my list are great basketball schools, but they don't compare to the education I would receive from a good liberal arts school like a Holy Cross or a Davidson."
