Sheridan Keeping Busy

Will Sheridan, the Delaware Player of the Year as a junior, is receiving tons of recruiting attention. His slate has been full since the period started. Sheridan shares his thoughts in a recent conversation with

Schools Coming In Droves

When you are 6-8, have skills and are a fine student, you tend to attract a little attention. Just ask Will Sheridan. The Sanford School junior and member of the Tim Thomas Playaz has been a little busy this year.

"I've had one (school) in everyday except for (Friday)," Sheridan says. The only reason no one is coming on Friday is because he thought he might take an unofficial visit to UConn but that's not happening this weekend.

"Michigan came on Monday and offered me a scholarship. Wake Forest came and offered. Villanova came and offered on Wednesday. Tennessee offered (Thursday)." Apparently, Seton Hall is coming in on Monday, Virginia on Tuesday, Georgia Tech on Wednesday, Charlotte on Thursday, Notre Dame on the 26th and Rutgers on the 30th. Whew!

"It's actually exciting," Sheridan said. "The schools are really into it. They are kicking all these facts and it's draining. They show highlight tapes, give facts about the school and sell themselves.

"There's so much emotion after these meetings."

Well, this type of process is new to Sheridan and the coaches. Sounds like things are going well on both sides.
