"Their pitch to me is that they can train me and help me become one of the great players that ever played there," Lett said. "They have new facilities too."
John Pelphrey's South Alabama squad had him up for a visit in September. "I like the players and they're really down to earth," Lett said of USA. "They know what it takes to win games and the coaches are real. They're good people.
"The opportunity for me playing ball there is very great. The positive is that I'd be right here at home in case anything happened to the family.

Lett is a big, strong power forward who has broad shoulders and could be a force on the glass. He's enjoying the recruiting attention he's afforded right now, but could turn into a spring decision maker.
"I'm not going to sign early," Lett said. "I still have to visit some more schools and get the feel to make sure where I'm going is where I'm comfortable with."
What if he were to fall in love with a school? "If I did like them though I probably would (sign) early."
