The 6-foot-6, 205-pound Robinson, who averaged about 15 points and 10 rebounds per game as a sophomore, wasn't a fixture on the circuit this past summer – instead having to put in his time in the classroom at summer school.
``It worked out well," Robinson said. "I went to summer school and took care of my academics and was also able to go out and get some exposure."
Robinson did participate in a few tournaments with the New Jersey All-Stars – Boo Williams, the Super Showcase and in New Orleans – and he also displayed his high-flying abilities at the Nike Camp in July.
Robinson, 17, still needs to improve his ballhandling skills, but he's lethal in the open court and driving to the basket.
``He's a great athlete and his understanding of the game is starting to click," St. Pat's coach Kevin Boyle said.
It's no surprise, with his leaping ability, that his favorite player in Vince Carter.
``I like to dunk on everybody," Robinson said.
Robinson has a laundry list of schools that have expressed interest – but he's started to sort out his favorites: Syracuse, Georgia Tech, UConn, Miami and Virginia Tech. Others in the mix include Marquette, Georgia, Cincinnati, Florida, Florida State and Rutgers.
