Daye Kaba to ACC

Daye Kaba took a pair of trips and got it done. The France native, who is spending his second year at Our Savior New American (N.Y.), make a commitment on Wednesday night.

Boston College needed a big combo guard and they got it when Our Savior New American (N.Y.) senior Daye Kaba committed to Eagles.

``He really liked the opportunity to play in the ACC and he also liked the offense that they run at BC," Our Savior assistant coach Eric Jakilitsch said. "The way they use their guards was important – and so was the opportunity for him to play."

Kaba, a native of France, will give the Eagles a big guard to go along with current freshman Tyrese Rice and Marquez Haynes.

Kaba, who also visited USC, is a big, strong guard who can play both backcourt positions and is also able to defend both spots.

``Daye looked at how successful BC has been in the last few years and he wants to be a part of that," Jakilitsch added. "It's also close to New York, where he's been for the past two years."
