Big Timers Have Offers Out To Gardner

Thomas Gardner used to be a point guard. That was three inches ago. Now, he's a bonafide shooting guard prospect and a really good one.

Gardner Worthy of High Praise

Thomas Gardner used to be a lot of things. He used to be 6-2. He also used to be a point guard prospect. That was then, this is most certainly now.

"I grew a couple of inches," Gardner said. "I like the two guard better." And you know what? Gardner's one of the best shooting guard prospects in the country.

He's good enough that Kansas, Florida, UConn, Missouri, Oregon and Michigan State are very interested in him. So far, Missouri, Kansas and Florida have offered. "I want to come in and play right off the bat," Gardner said. "It doesn't really matter where it's at."

Gardner said that he and his high school coach are working on visits right now. It looks like Florida, Kansas and UConn are going to receive official trips. "(The dates) really depend on whether my coach can get it done. I'd rather take them before the summer starts."

Gardner will attend the USA Basketball Youth Development Festival and hoop it up at adidas ABCD Camp.
