Three Top List For Thomas

Isaiah Thomas, a talented junior point guard from Washington, has multiple programs on his early list. But he says three schools are currently at the top of his list...

Isaiah Thomas, 5-7 JR PG Tacoma (Wash.) Curtis, told us recently that he has a long list of programs that he is hearing from to date.

"Indiana, Kentucky, Washington, Florida, Illinois, Louisville, Georgetown, St. John's and Old Dominion," said Thomas.

Asked if any schools stand out for him from the list, Thomas said, "Indiana, Kentucky and Washington are my top three right now."

Thomas said a couple coaches have been out to his high school to watch practice.

"Kerry Rupp from Indiana and Cameron Dollar from UW have been out," said Thomas.

When questioned about the factors he'll consider when choosing a school, Thomas said, "Location doesn't really matter. Education comes first and also if I can make an impact -- either starting or playing a lot right away."

Thomas was at the recent Washington game against Gonzaga. "That was a great game," said Thomas.

In addition to Washington, Thomas told us he also plans to take an unofficial visit to Indiana at some point.

"I kind of want to decide before the summer," said Thomas.

Thomas told us he has a 2.9 GPA and he'll take the SAT in January.
