USC, Clemson Offer Early
Brandon Wallace is a 6-8 combo forward. Though he averaged 22 points and 12 boards a game last year for Silver Bluff, he's known primarily for his shooting touch beyond the perimeter. Blessed with the unique ability to step out and make jumpers, Wallace has impressed recruiters.
So far, he's been offered by South Carolina and Clemson. "Maryland came down; Georgia Tech came down and so did South Carolina and Clemson," Wallace said. Add Connecticut and Tennessee to his list and you have where it stands right now.
Unofficially, he's been to both Clemson and South Carolina. His AAU teams practices on the Gamecocks' campus so he knows his way around Columbia. "I'll probably take all of my visits in the fall," Wallace said.
The adidas ABCD camper plans on majoring in either business management of sports management. But, academics aren't his only consideration. "How the team is together, the guys on the team and the overall feel (will be important)," Wallace said.
