Twins Undecided About Camp, College

Last Memorial Day Weekend, the Stewart Twins assaulted the rims at the Dean E. Smith Center. This year, they'll be back for more. He's a little update on the twins and who's on their list.

Someone Must Have Room For Both

College choice? Not yet, the Stewart Twins – Lodrick and Rodrick – haven't even decided what shoe company camp they are going to attend.

"They are kind of undecided right now," Bill Stewart, the twins' father said. "There are pros in both of them. They went to adidas last year. We're ready to go to either one."

So if the twins can't decide on what camp they'll attend, it's a little unrealistic to think they'll pick a college soon. "We're just still open" Bill Stewart said. "We've narrowed it down to the top 10 schools pretty much."

The elder Stewart says the twins like Southern Cal, Arizona, Duke, North Carolina, Louisville, Washington and Kentucky. However wants the twins is going to have to offer scholarships to both of them. "No question. There is no way they will be separated and they don't want to be separated either. All of the coaches we talk to say they don't want to separate them."

With that said, UNC would probably be unlikely to offer based on program needs and a scholarship crunch. Duke signed a ton of guys last year and to the best of our knowledge, isn't recruiting the twins aggressively. Southern Cal and hometown Washington would appear to have plenty of room.

Lodick (17.8 ppg.) and Rodrick (19.4 ppg.) were both named second-team all-state last year by the Seattle Times. Their talent level certainly makes it compelling to take the pair if there's room.

The twins will play with Gary Payton Nike Select at the Bob Gibbons event. That team also features Martell Webster, one of the best freshman wing players in the country.
