Morris Has Seen Two Campuses Already

Quietly, Tim Morris has hit the official visit trail. In recent weeks, he's made two official visits. Look for him to slow down with the trips, but it's clear the two schools he visited are players in his recruitment.

Irish, Cardinal Already Hosted Morris

Tim Morris, a combo guard from Whitefield Academy, has kept busy this spring. Without much fanfare, he's already made trips to Notre Dame (a few weeks ago) and Stanford (last weekend).

"I'm still kind of open," Morris said. It's a hard decision. The Stanford visit was nice. California was beautiful out there."

In addition Stanford and Notre Dame, it looks like Georgia Tech remains firmly in the picture. "Georgia Tech is still real high. I practice there with my AAU team. I'll take the rest of my visits in the fall."

Among the schools that Morris has mentioned in previous conversations were Clemson, Florida, NC State, UConn and Maryland.

Morris is a big time student. He's looking for a school where he can succeed academically. "It's fairly important," Morris said.

He'll stay busy in the coming weeks with the Georgia Stars. He's also ticketed to play on the USA Basketball 18-and-under team that will go to Venezuela and Asia. "I'm looking forward to it because I'll get to play against older guys."
