Belton Pledges To Terps

The Maryland Terrapins, according to numerous reports, have landed their fourth commitment from the junior class and it's another big man.

Kenny Belton, a 6-foot-7 power forward out of Greensboro (N.C.) Dudley, is headed to Maryland according to the News and Record.

"I like the program and the coaching staff," Belton told the paper. "It just seemed like a nice fit for me."

Last year as a sophomore, Belton was a reserve player for the powerful Boo Williams team. He attended Salem High in Virginia last season before transferring to Dudley, one of the top teams in the state of North Carolina. He accounted for 14 points and 8 rebounds last season.

The commitment is Maryland's fourth from the Class of 2007. Gary Williams and Co. landed wing Jeff Jones and insiders Dino Gregory and Braxton Dupree ( No. 47).
