Senario Hillman: Three in Front

What is Senario Hillman? Is he an undersized shooting guard or a developing point guard? That's a good question. One thing that is clear is that the Wilkinson County (Ga.) junior guard has three schools in front.

Senario Hillman may be as athletic a guard as there is in the junior class, but the 6-foot-1, 180-pound combo guard didn't get a chance to showcase his explosiveness a little more than a week ago in front of Georgia head man Dennis Felton.

Hillman and his Wilkinson County (Ga.) team went up against Baldwin and Martavius Adams. Baldwin played a zone nearly the entire game and it took until the waning minutes of the game before Hillman sliced through the zone and played with urgency.

``I tried to get my teammates involved early," Hillman said. "I didn't play my best. I could have done better. I didn't play hard enough in the first half."

Hillman was the first to admit that it wasn't his best performance, but he still managed to finish with 21 points – including a trio of 3-pointers.

Hillman is at his best in the open court when he can take advantage of his athleticism and quick first step. He's playing point guard this season and while he had his moments passing the ball, he's still not a finished product with the ball in his hands.

He's able to penetrate through the lane and get his own shot, but he'll still need to become more consistent with his perimeter shot.

In addition to Georgia, which appears to be the leader at this point, Hillman also said that Alabama and LSU also comprise his top three.
