|1. NOTRE DAME PREP (MASS.)|
|Comments:||The Crusaders hold onto the top spot despite a loss on the road against Fletcher Arritt's Fork Union squad. Bill Barton's team dropped the first one, but Paul Harris & Co. rebounded to win the next game, played the following day, against Fork Union. Harris also scored 26 in a win against Blair and had 36 in a victory over Winchendon.|
|2. PATTERSON SCHOOL (N.C.)|
|Comments:||The early-season loss to top-ranked Notre Dame Prep is the only blemish for Chris Chaney's squad. Davon Jefferson has been up-and-down, but junior Dominique Sutton has emerged as the team's most consistent scorer of late. Sutton finished with 20 points and Tirrell Baines (Charleston) added 19 in the victory against South Kent.|
|3. HARGRAVE MILITARY ACADEMY (VA.)|
|Comments:||A pair of quality wins in the last couple weeks have cemented Keavin Keatts' club in the third slot. Stefan Welsh (Arkansas) erupted for 30 points in a 20-point win against American Christian and Vernon Macklin (Georgetown) added 28 points and 15 boards. Hargrave also knocked off Winchendon, 91-84, at the Hall of Fame Invitational.|
|4. ST. THOMAS MORE (CONN.)|
|Comments:||Despite a loss to No. 5 Laurinburg, we're giving Jere Quinn's group the nod here due to strength of schedule. STM's two other losses have come against top-ranked Notre Dame Prep - and they have wins against Fork Union, South Kent, Boys to Men, Massanutten, New Hampton and Worcester.|
|5. LAURINBURG INSTITUTE (N.C.)|
|Comments:||You hate to penalize guys for strength of schedule, especially because first-year coach Billy Reid took over the team so late, but we'd like to see Laurinburg play against better competition. The win against St. Thomas More got them in the mix, but they haven't played a legitimate Top 10-caliber team since. Unsigned senior Kiwan Smith has been on a tear of late - with 42 against Rise Academy.|
|6. BRIDGTON ACADEMY (MAINE)|
|Comments:||Whit Lesure's club has dropped a couple lately to Philadelphia Lutheran and Montmorency College after coming back from the break with a solid win against New Hampton. Qa'rraan Calhoun (St. John's) and unsigned guards Keaton Grant and Jarvis Hill continue to lead Bridgton.|
|7. NEW HAMPTON (N.H.)|
|Comments:||It's been a while since New Hampton has cracked the Top 10, but Jamie Arsenault's team has earned some quality wins and played a difficult schedule. Wins against Fork Union, Northfield Mount Hermon, Bridgton, Brewster, Winchendon and Champlain St. Lambert have been impressive thus far. The team's best player has been Kansas-bound guard Brady Morningstar, who had 20 against Winchendon and 26 in a loss to Bridgton.|
|8. BREWSTER ACADEMY (N.H.)|
|Comments:||After a loss to Winchendon coming out of the break, Jason Smith has his team on a roll - winning 5 of 6. Unsigned senior floor leader Dodie Dunson had 26 (6 trifectas) in a win against Worcester and Will Harris (Virginia) finished with 18 in a victory against South Kent.|
|9. CHAMPLAIN ST. LAMBERT (MONTREAL)|
|Comments:||John Dangelas' squad plays most of its games north of the border, but the boys from Montreal have excelled this season when they came into the U.S. - with wins against Bridgton, Worcester, Our Savior and St. Andrew's - and losses to a pair of ranked teams: St. Thomas More and New Hampton.|
|10. NORTHFIELD MOUNT HERMON (MASS.)|
|Comments:||The final spot was difficult and we have NMH the slight edge over Massanutten because of strength of schedule. NMH has knocked off Worcester and Proctor and lost to three ranked opponents: Notre Dame, New Hampton and Brewster. The Williams twins - Jerrell and Terrell - have led NMH of late.|
