"Loyola Marymount is a new school that has been out and is showing interest," said Bernardini. "I've been talking to Washington State a bit also. I talked to Stanford today and they were saying they might come out to see me in a playoff game. They want me to come up for an unofficial visit in a couple weeks when they play UCLA. I'd like to go if it works out with my schedule."
Bernardini mentioned some other schools as well.
We asked Bernardini if he has any leaders at this time.
"I'm really open right now," said Bernardini. "But if I had to pick a leader, I'd probably say Stanford. I've wanted to go there since I was a young kid. But I'm really open."
Bernardini said he could see himself making an early decision if the right opportunity presents itself.
"I feel like when I find the right place, academically and athletically, if it feels right, then I'll go for it. I'm not looking to just go to the highest program."
