Kamyron Brown Favors Two

Kamyron Brown, a talented junior point guard from Southern California, has two Pac-10 programs at the top of his list...

Kamyron Brown, 6-2 JR PG Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei, is one of the elite point guard prospects in the west for 2007.

We spoke with Brown last night and he told us that two schools top his current list.

"Arizona and Washington are my top two," said Brown.

Brown said that, while both schools are expressing a lot of interest, neither one has extended a scholarship offer just yet.

We asked Brown why those two stand out for him at this time.

"The coaches and the style of play," said Brown. "Coach Olson came out to see me at the Nike Extravaganza and Coach Romar has been to a couple games."

However, Brown told us that his recruitment is not set in stone.

"I'm open to other schools recruiting me," said Brown. "Those are just two that have been most interested."

We asked Brown if he'll take any unofficial visits in the spring when his season is over.

"Most definitely," said Brown. "I want to take visits to both of those schools. I'll probably decide sometime after July."

Brown is averaging 10 points and 7.5 assists per game this season. He told us that his GPA for the most recent semester was 3.2
