COUNTDOWN also checks in on the nation's top rated high school junior, point guard O.J. Mayo of North College Hill HS in Cincinnati. Mayo, who averages 28.5 points and 8.3 assists per game, has a long list of potential colleges heading into his senior season.

One player not suiting up in the March 29 showdown in San Diego is the third-ranked small forward in the land. Paul Harris (6-4, 215) - a Syracuse signee and prep teammate of Hayward - was left off the McDonald's roster.
