OU Calls On Forward
Reyshawn Terry, one of the top players in the state of North Carolina, recently fielded call from Final Four participant Oklahoma, Kappa Magic AAU coach Andre Gould said. "I know Oklahoma called," Gould said. "I'm not sure if they offered."
In addition to Oklahoma, Terry's list includes UConn, Tennessee, Clemson, NC State and North Carolina. At this point, Gould feels that Clemson, UConn, Tennessee and NC State have made firm scholarship offers.
Gould says his player will take two unofficials this month. Schedules permitting, he'll make a trip to visit with coaches at NC State on June 17. Then, the following day he'll try and get to Clemson for another unofficial.
As far as official visits go, that'll have to wait until the following month. "We'll start our visits in August," Gould said. "He won't do anything before then. He can't take officials until then."
In the meantime, Terry will attend the Nike All-American Camp and participate in the AAU Nationals with the Kappa Magic.
Right now, it's tough to put one's finger on a leader.
"I think all of the schools I mentioned are in there real good," Gould said. "He's got some pretty good schools out there who have offered."
