Morgan Grim Update

Morgan Grim, a 6-7 junior power forward from Utah, has programs from the Pac-10, Mountain West, Big West and WAC, among others, recruiting him...

Morgan Grim, 6-7 JR PF Riverton (Utah) High, is among the top power forwards in the West Coast class of 2007. His frame and mobility suggest a significant upside and we expect new schools to get involved with him after he gets out on the AAU circuit in the spring.

We spoke with Grim recently and asked about the programs he's heard from lately.

"Utah has been showing the most interest," said Grim. "UCLA, BYU, Utah State -- all of the schools in Utah have been contacting me -- and also Pacific has showed a bit of interest."

Grim said he'd like to take some unofficial visits in the spring, but hasn't set up anything yet. Grim has already visited local schools Utah, BYU and Weber St.

A couple other high major programs have expressed interest in Grim.

"Stanford and Indiana have asked me to come to their camps," said Grim.

A good student, Grim told us he has a 3.5 GPA.
