Clark Anxious To Reach Decision

Karron Clarke is growing tired of the recruiting process. That much is for sure. After having decided on another year of prep school, only a college decision remains.

Clarke Growing Weary of Recruiting Process

Karron Clarke, a fifth-year swingman at The Winchendon School, recently made some visits to Miami-FL and Cincinnati. The common school of thought is that the Bearcats might hold a slight advantage in his recruitment. So, are they leading? "I can't really call it right now but [the Bearcats] are there," Clarke said.

Despite the rumors of an impending commitment, Clarke maintains he hasn't decided. "Right after adidas Camp," Clarke said of his timetable for an announcement. "I can't take it anymore."

Cincinnati and Miami have gotten visits out of him and he says Syracuse, UConn, Texas and Illinois are on his short list.

Clarke is an interesting story. Currently, he's qualified to attend a college next season and play this fall. However, he's opting for another year of school and he has his reasons. "I think I need one more year to develop my body and my mind. Me and my mother decided on that. These days, there are 21 year old freshmen in college."

He's right. Although the game is getting younger in terms of guys leaving early, it can often time take freshmen a little longer to arrive, especially with the prominence of prep schools.
