Final 2006 West Rankings: Power Forwards

High major programs that were looking for power forwards in the west didn't have a lot to choose from in 2006. The top player in the group in going to UCLA...

The West Coast power forward class is a bit down in 2006, with a limited number of high major prospects. Keefe is the clear-cut choice for the top spot. He's the best rebounder in the west and the consummate team player. He's got a nice stroke to the three-point line and he's also a very good shot blocker. Lawson is a promising big man who has been under the radar until now. He's somewhat inexperienced, but has the potential to turn into a very nice player eventually. Deane is tough and physical, with a pretty nice shot out to the stripe. Cunningham is a bit undersized, but he's a very good athlete and he competes very well. Austin is another undersized four man with a decent shot out to seventeen feet. He's a good rebounder and defender.
