The Marshall Plan

Sean Marshall, 6-4 SR SF, Rialto (Calif.) Eisenhower, has been one of the standout west coast players at the ABCD Camp. He's been shooting the ball very well, and making plays on both sides of the court.

Marshall might see his recruitment pick up quite a bit as a result of his performance. But, as of yet, just a few days into the summer evaluation period, Marshall said he's still got the same list of schools he had a week ago.

"I like USC, Utah, Boston College, Colorado, New Mexico, Tulane, Washington and Oregon State," Marshall said. Colorado, New Mexico, and Tulane have offered, to date.

Marshall said he'd like to take trips out of town to see places and schools away from home. "That's what I think trips are for," he said. "I'd like to trip to Boston College, Colorado and Utah." He said he'd only like to visit USC unofficially, but is still very interested in the Trojans.

A school he grew up liking that he'd like to hear from? "Connecticut," he said.

He also said that he'd like to get the process over fairly quickly. "I'd like to get it over with. Take my trips in August and September. I think I'll be able to make up my mind pretty quickly by then."

It could get a bit more complicated as a result of his performance at ABCD, though. When told that many college coaches were impressed with his camp performance he smiled and said, "Well, we'll have to see what happens. I haven't heard from anyone new yet."

Marshall has a 3.4 GPA, a 3.0 core GPA and scored an 880 on the SAT as a sophomore. He plans to take the test again in fall to try to improve his score.
