Scott Thompson, 6-11 SR C Meridian (Ida.) Mountain View, is one of the top post prospects in the west for 2007. We caught up with Thompson at the UCLA Advanced Skills Camp and asked him about the schools on his list.

"Washington, UCLA, Virginia, Michigan, Washington State, Oregon State, Arizona State and Pepperdine are some of them," said Thompson.

When asked if he has a leader, Thompson replied, "No, I'm still looking at everybody right now."

Thompson talked a little about the issues he'll be looking at when choosing a school.

"Mainly the coaches and players – my relationship with them," said Thompson.

Thompson has been to Washington and now UCLA on unofficial visits, but has yet to see any other schools. We asked if he has decided on taking any official visits in the fall.

"No, I'm waiting until the summer is over to set those up," said Thompson.

We asked Thompson about his experience at the UCLA camp.

"This has been really good," said Thompson. "It seems like they have a great program here. It's been a lot of fun at the camp and I've learned a lot in just a day and a half so far."

Thompson told us he has a 3.3 GPA and scored a 22 on the ACT.
