Legion Makes Decision - Again

Alex Legion committed to Michigan a while back and then the Country Day (Mich.) senior wing opted to take a look around. Now Legion has decided to make his decision again and this time it'll be for good.

Alex Legion has re-committed. The Country Day (Mich.) 6-foot-4 wing called Tommy Amaker and committed to the Michigan Wolverines for the second time.

Legion, who has played extremely well recently, had decided to look at other options after giving Amaker a verbal pledge about a year ago.

``I have always liked Michigan and Coach Amaker has always stuck out to me," Legion said. "He had a vision for me to be the leader of the program. A lot of other schools wanted me more as a role wing player."

Legion called Amaker with the news on Tuesday afternoon.

``I figured I should do it now so I can concentrate on being a better player," he added.

Another key factor for Legion, in addition to playing for Amaker, is playing with Manny Harris - who recently committed to the Wolverines.

``He's the other guard I need that will help me a lot," Legion said.
