Corey Raji ACC-Bound

Corey Raji wasted little time after finishing up his summer with the Playaz Basketball Club. The Westwood High (N.J.) senior forward committed to an ACC school on Saturday - one that has made him a priority for a while.

Corey Raji is following in his brother's footsteps. Well, sort of.

The 6-foot-6, 200-pound senior out of Westwood Regional (N.J.) is heading to play at Boston College, where his older brother, B.J., is a right tackle on the football team.

According to sources, Raji committed to the Eagles on Saturday night. This is an important get for a staff that recently lost its two top assistant coaches, Bill Coen and Ed Cooley. Pat Duquette has been working Raji for a while and it paid off.

Raji, who played with the Playaz Basketball Club this past summer, also considered Miami, Seton Hall and Virginia.

Raji is a glue guy who will likely play multiple positions when he gets to Chestnut Hill and someone that Al Skinner and his staff envision in the Jared Dudley mold.

Raji joins Rakim Sanders as seniors who have already committed to BC.
