Badgers Land Local Standout

The Wisconsin Badgers received their second commitment of the recruiting season when power forward Keaton Nankivil selected Bo Ryan's club Thursday evening.

Keaton Nankivil will be able to do his laundry at home next fall. The 6-foot-8 power forward, ranked No. 88 nationally and the No. 21 power forward, committed to the Badgers Thursday evening.

The Madison (Wisc.) Memorial standout selected the team after listening intently to pitches from Boston College and Marquette. In picking Wisconsin, he gave the Badgers their second verbal of the year. AAU teammate Tim Jarmusz committed to Wisconsin in the spring.

"Wisconsin was the first school to offer him back in the winter of his freshman season," Fox Valley Skillz coach Ritchie Davis told Scout.com.

Nankivil is a physically strong specimen with a penchant for playing on the perimeter. It'll be his size and stroke that come in most handy early in his career at Madison.
