"They offered me today and I committed," said Anderson. "It feels great. Now I've got this off my chest and I can concentrate on getting better."
We asked Anderson which other programs he considered before choosing the Bruins.
We asked Anderson why he decided on UCLA.
"There were several things," said Anderson. "My family was a big part of it. I'm very close with my family, and my extended family, and they're all in Los Angeles. Also, it was like why go somewhere else when you have the best in your backyard. They have great players and they're going to continue to get great players. We're going to be really good every year. Academically, it was a great fit -- UCLA is a great school. And then the coaching staff is great. Coach Keating, Coach Daniels, Coach Garson and Coach Howland -- they're just very cool, down to earth guys. I wanted them to be part of my life.
